Sister Nancy is a favorite at the Dub Club and always brings the fire when she comes through. Her tune “Bam Bam” is loved by fans of all genres of music worldwide…but there’s nothing like hearing the original female dj live and direct on the mic…
General Trees will be making his first stop at the Dub Club and we can’t wait to hear his gravel voice booming out over our PA. Trees had many Jamaican hits in the 80s and he is known for his great live performances and his arsenal of lyrics…
Tippa Lee started in the music business toasting on his fathers sound system age 8 , “standing up on a beer bottle box to reach the mic”. He made his first recording at King Tubbys studio at age 12 , and later had a Jamaican No 1 hit with ‘No Trouble We” in the 80s.
And….surprise guests! Over the years at Dub Club surprise guests have included many heavy hitters , so you never know….
And as usual with Sound System style shows at the Dub Club , all the performers will be backed up by the Echodelic selectors on the turntables…
