It’s a Pre-Valentine’s Party at Bootie LA! Whether you love Valentine’s Day or loathe it, Bootie has got something for you! Resident DJs Adrian & Mysterious D, along with special guest DJ Tripp, spin twisted love-themed mashups throughout the night! Resident dance crew R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance) brings the love with their trademark gold go-go suits and choreographed dance moves. And for the Midnight Mashup Show — direct from the Cavern Club in Silverlake — comes a performance from John Cantwell’s “Love, Connie,” a comedic, multi-media drag dance show. Don’t forget to wear red!

Launched in 2003 by DJs Adrian & Mysterious D, Bootie was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup — and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie’s DJs keep your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, celebrating — and satirizing — the many different forms of music.
